This pair of Red Shouldered Hawks came out of no where. I was shooting vultures drying their wings - So to change gears was tough for me. This is the best I came out with.

OK, I am jealous. How come you've got to shoot all the eagles and hawks and I only have ducks ? :(:(

Exposure looks ok. Two kind of head angles, and one seems to be better than the other :D I'd sharpen the hawks a bit and crop some off the bottom.

Oh, could you send some eagles and hawks my way, please ? :):)

Hi Denise - agree with Desmond - does look like it could use some more sharpening. As mentioned exposure looks good.

    :)

I don't know what happened to this I re-sized for the web-and for some reason wouldn't let me post .I had to reduce image quality alot to get it on.Not sure what happened-will have to do some testing when I get alittle time today.See if this is better.

    Hi Denise:

Super shot, and repost perfect. Love your capture.

I was surprised, twice when reducing size in save for web, I tried posting 2 that were a couple of kb under the 200 kb maximum and they were both refused. Could be CS4, as we both use it. I never once had a resize once using CS3 that was as close as 1 kb to max.

As Pres it wont happen to you again. ;););)

    Keep sming

I think you are right Gus I am having alot of conflict within my comp. w/ CS4 don't know why. Probably need more memory w/ Lightroom and cs4-having the guy who helped me re-build my comp. come over today and have a looksy! I'll let you know if I find anything out.

    Hi denise:

The other day when using CS4 I had the blue screen of death with a solution of updating my Graphics driver. On investigation there were no updates, so I cleanedp my hard drive and moved about 10GB to one of my 2 portable hard drives. Then deleted every thing I didn't really need (I'm a pack rat). Haven't had a problem since.

As I have Lightroom 2.1, I think I'll look into removing Bridge & ACR that came with CS4 as I was disappointed that the Rule of thirds grid didn't come with it like LR does.

I think you are right about more memory. I use a fairly hi powered Laptop with 2 GB Memory, however, it has a 4 year old Pentium 4, 3.20 GHZ, and I should probably go for the latest system? I have been reluctant as I now use XP SP3 which I like, and have been avoiding Vista.

Hope your techie fixes your machine. (Pretty nice coming out on Sunday)

NIce capture and a real plus of getting two in the frame. The repost is very nice. Also one more vote for more room up front.

    Thanks for sharing.

repost looks great, but i agree with mr al. with the dominant bird looking to the right i would have framed it with more to the right and less on the left. you did great switching gears!! the rsh's are lots of fun and really loud!!!!
