These two White-fronted Bee-eaters were snuggling up to each other on a rather cool overcast day in the Kruger National Park in South Africa. I don't like to create images of birds sitting with their backs to me, as DOF is always a problem. However the pose here was so striking I tried anyway. All comments welcome.

This works for me Chris. The symmetry is great and the colours work well with the background matching the birds and warm tones of head and neck drawing to the eyes. Great shot.

Wow Chris I just love this image - beautiful pair of bee-eaters and almost looks like a mirrow image - and the BG is perfect for these lovebirds!! Well seen and taken!!

    Hi Chris,

Lovely image and pose but too tight in the frame.

Outstanding color and detail in this image. I think the birds are a bit high in the frame IMHO. A great capture none the less....

This is gorgeous and so sweet, Chris! And the colors are great, of course. I think a little more side space would be good, but still a winning image in my books!
