Next in the series - I prefer the wing position in this one but would have preferred it if the bird hadn't been heading away as much. Still like the feather details

All you've done with this image shows the beauty of the bird, excellent work in this series so far, great job.

Well done here Tony - agree that the wing position here is better but the orientation of the bird is not ideal... still you did well. Excellent PP work too! I would like this in my collection ;-)

Lovely colours captured in this, and great feather detail shown too. I like the two tone BG. Well done Tony.

Beautiful colors and detail on the wings...but the head angle does lessen the impact a bit. Its always tough when you have quick transitions in the background too, but because there is some height variation in the vegetation it doesn't bother me a lot...IMO it's more interesting than all blue. Nice work Tony!

A little head turn towards you and this one would be an amazing shot, the pose is great, the light is nice, the compo is good but the BG is what I liked best! Congratulations!

Love the wing position, the colors, and the great detail in the dark tones. The position of the bird is actually ideal for this wing position. What you needed to do was to croak like a frog so that the ibis would have turned its head back towards you

Sharp focus seems to be on the wings with the head appearing a bit soft to me.
