    Default Stallion Portrait

    From this weekend's workshop. The background is of Cottonwoods along the Rio Grande.



    D300 with 80-400 @ 400mm, f/5.6, 1/2500, iso 800, ev -0.67, taken about 20 minutes after sunrise.

    Great shot David, I hope to see a few wild horse as I will be in New Mexico for a the first two weeks in November. Great background just a little tight.

    The Cottonwoods make a beautiful BG . the Stallion looks as though he was posing for you. I don't think this needs to be sharper it's a portrait- and I think it shows the horse's strength in a very calming way. I like it alot!

    Lovely colours. I think it needs bit more sharpness. Nice shot. Thanks for sharing.
