    I noticed the breeding colors on this egret and how it worked with the wood BG. I used Canon 20D, 100-400mm lens. Hand held. I wish I had collected the info before I reduced it.

    Hi Joanna,

    What a lovely BG you have here. I wish the bird's eye was more in focus. Looks like your focusing point is the beak, leaving the eye out of focus. I can also suggest you to remove some of the noise.

    I like the complimenting colors in the bg the image looks a little soft I also like your choice for comp....

    The composition and colors are very nice with this simplistic portrait. As mentioned, the focus point doesn't appear to be on the eye....thus slightly OOF. It is also helpful to list all the techs in making a critique.
