We had a big client party at work last night and we received a huge bouquet of some of the most beautiful flowers I have seen in years. I took my macro to work with me and snapped a few when the boss wasn't looking. :D

This one is pretty close to SOOC. I did a white balance correction in ACR & slight levels and curves adjustments in CS4. I also did a small crop and toned down two hot spots.

    Manual mode, center-weighted metering

Julie, the colors in this are so dreamy I love the tight crop.
PS Did you do an orton action on this?

No, Denise, I didn't. On my 100mm macro at f3.5, this is how it turned out in camera. I think the overall "orton" look came about because of the office lighting mixed with a soft fill flash and a relatively slow shutter speed.

    Hey Jules,

    How are ya?

Nice image. I like the softness and "dreaminess" of the composition. Then only thing that bothers me is the UR corner. It looks like it needs something to fill in the corner.

    Julie,
This is my type of composition and image. Very well done; a delicate and balanced play of form and colors...congrats...:)
