    Camera: Sony DSLR A700 f 7.1 1/125 sec ISO 200 24mm. Canyonland NO, UT. Waited for the late afternoon sun to come from behind the clouds to provide modeling to the rocky spire.

    Tom, I like how you included the smaller rock formations to show scale and depth. Nice sky

    i like your composition, including the bits of green in the foreground and the rock formations in the background. Perhaps a bit more room on the right?

    Hey Tom,
    The lighting is fantastic. I like your use of the smaller BG formations to show scale also. In the field I would have cropped the back of the formation (where the rock ledge starts sloping downward).....and added it to the front of the image.......this would have taken the large rock more out of the center and added overall imapact.

    Can also add if you want to include the little rock in the bg do include the entire formation and give it a little room !!! Got a keeper !!!

    Nicely done Tom,
    I like the composition, image and capture the clouds against the blue sky makes it for me...:cool:
