    Taken a month ago I liked the colors and feel to this shot it was really late light.

    Oh this is awesome. I love stilts and this composition is gorgeous with excellent exposure which can be a real challenge with these species and the wonderful red eye contact. The BG is lovely and gives us a hint of the environment.. Would love to have this one in my files James !!!!!!

    Gorgeous. The BG is fantastic and goes very well with the image. Love the low angle and eye contact. Very colorful as well.

    Great light, and background on this one, Jim. I like the slight hint of pink on the white feathers.

    I agree with others that BG in this pic has made the pic look even more beautiful.
    I only wish there has been some more separation between legs which would have been even better.

    Very nice and peaceful image.
    Love the details however I see the shadows is a bit overadjusted (at least on my screen).
