Oh this is awesome. I love stilts and this composition is gorgeous with excellent exposure which can be a real challenge with these species and the wonderful red eye contact. The BG is lovely and gives us a hint of the environment.. Would love to have this one in my files James !!!!!!
Gorgeous. The BG is fantastic and goes very well with the image. Love the low angle and eye contact. Very colorful as well.
Excellent work!
Jame this is an image that is fantastic, and so agree with Judy and with Maxis about everything, you've done a wonderful job.

Terrific! That BG is one of the most great BGs I have seen, light is simply great and pose is lovely! Congratulations!
Lighting, backround and detail in the subject make this a real winner!!! Good job!
Great light, and background on this one, Jim. I like the slight hint of pink on the white feathers.
Brilliant all round, James. Really like that eye and you have managed the blacks and whites perfectly - nothing more to say apart from well done!

The comments says it all James - just to add my all round very well done on an amazing capture!
Nothing more to add. Great image. ;-)
I agree with others that BG in this pic has made the pic look even more beautiful.
I only wish there has been some more separation between legs which would have been even better.
Very nice and peaceful image.
Love the details however I see the shadows is a bit overadjusted (at least on my screen).
