    Hi, I would try lightening it a bit and also a pano crop to avoid the vegetation in the BG might get the bird to stand out a bit more, nice pose and that little reflextion in the water looks great! Congratulatinos!

    I fully agree with Ramon's comments. I would also recomend shooting wide open for flight images with not much light to boost your shutter speed.

    ...not only shooting wide open, but also upping the ISO (don't be afraid of ISO 400). Although sharpness looks good here by opening up a bit more and upping the ISO you would give yourself more leeway for error and a better keeper rate for flight photography. I don't mind the habitat, it just needs CW rotation.
