    Default Green Winged Teal

While out a couple of weeks ago, I had to lay quietly on the boardwalk at a local marsh for a half hour till these skittish birds came close enough for some shots. 20D with 200 F/2.8L, F/8.0 @ 1/640 sec, ISO 200, +1/3 EC, Manual Exposure.

Beautiful lighting and wonderful detail. Really like the colors of the water and my only wish would have been for a slightly lower angle but if this was taken from a boardwalk it would have been impossible. Fine image Wayne and the water droplets are a nice bonus in this capture. Thanks for sharing.

Nice light. I would try apply some CW rotation, and crop a bit off the bottom.

I agree with the cropping and rotation suggestions. Looks like we were lucky to photograph them when we did as this particular pond has been devoid of any teals lately.
