Taken several years ago before I knoew about combining two shots, but I liked the essence of it. Canon 10D, 280135 @ f 14. Tripod mounted. I love the Bisti Wilderness!
You had a great looking moon and a great FG but I would have rather seen the moon break over the ridge's crest plus have you frame more of the FG. All the blue sky really isn't helping the image. One idea would be a pano with the moon on one side just after it becomes clear of the ridge with the FG made up of the ridge but not the immediate FG with the mounds and grass.

I'm with Robert on this one........he got my recommendations covered. Still.......you waited for the correct time of day on the sun/moonrise.......so for that you get bonus points!
