Photographed earlier this month in a flower garden on the main road on Monhegan Island in ME.
The background is courtesy of an orange shirt hanging on a distant clothesline.
Removed some green leaves sticking into the left side of the frame.

Terrific light and pose, and BG and lovely pose and good comp, you could try to desaturate the yellows from the head in order to get some more info, other than that, I love this shot! Big congratulaitons!

    Hi Mike,

This is very pretty. Love the colors and composition. I somewhat agree with Ramon's comment regarding the strong yellows in the head but that's minimal.

    Excellent work!

Stunning image with a killer BG Mike. The open beak is a lovely bonus and I love the excellent detail and exposure. Congratulations on a fine image.

Great shot. The composition is first rate. Noting your Tv 1/1600, you might have been able to squeeze a little more DOF by: 1) 1/800 f 6.3 or 2) ISO 800 1/800 f 7.1. That being said, this is one excellent image over-all. ;-)

Have to agree with Mark ... getting the tail in focus is getting "cream on the berries".

    Still, great shot Mike :)
