    Default Ibis action

While apparently demonstrating to the IPT how NOT to wade in deep muck with a big lens on a tripod (without incident I am happy to report!), I was fortunate enough to catch this quick ibis action and some nice spoonbill images. With 8 ft icicles hanging from my roof, wading in warm waters seems like a distant memory!

An interesting capture Milo - you certainly were quick off the mark!! Gives the impression that its foot is snared in the jaws of a croc!!. Lovely exposure for the white plumage. A little more canvas on right would improve composition for me.

Nice and interesting. Only nit I would have would be o straighten the horizon.

Hmm...lovely. Exposure is spot on, agree with a bit of space in front of the bird and a slight straightening of the horizon. .

I love the wing position you captured here Milo, not so fond of that silverish water with the reflections behind the bird, but I know this place and it is what it is:cool:

Great image, Milo. I guess it paid off to wade in that deep muck at Little Estero.
I agree with a little straighening of the image.

They should paint the hotels sky blue!!! Thanks for the comments and good catch on the crooked horizon. I had not noticed that and have corrected it in my Optimized tif
