    Great first post! You have nicely captured feeding behaviour here. The image is sharp and you have dealt with difficult, filtered light, very well. You could improve the composition by giving the subjects a little more room in the frame. The BG is a bit distracting but it is what it is!

    Hoopoes are one of my favourite species and not just because of their scientific name- Upupa epops

    Howdy and welcome. You did a good job with the harsh filtered light. I love the raised crest of the adult. Ideally the head of the young bird would have been turned more towards you.

    Love the action you captured in this image and as Artie mentioned the raised crest. The interaction here is an aweome captured moment. We saw these beautiful birds while in Samburu but never like this. Big congratulations on a fine image Lavarello.
