This is an image of fading rhubarb leaves, touched by frost. I am interested in your reactions to this Mike Moats wanna be image. I'm guessing you'll love or hate it, but that may be being optimistic.
I sharpened the image in LR2 and that's it.
Looking forward to your comments, and thanks for looking

    Hi Gail,
I like your composition...I made a few modifications to the image to enhance it...I increased contrast and saturation, cloned out the blemishes on the leaves, tone down the crystallized hot spots, opened up the dark shadows, and selective sharpened along the contour of the leaves...hope you like the added punch...

Thanks folks, appreciate the comments and suggestions. The interesting thing is Gus's re-post is not much different from the original as viewed on my monitor with on my internet browser on a glossy monitor. It does have slightly more punch, and I think I have backed away from too much of anything for fear of over doing, but the difference is very subtle. However most importantly, I greatly appreciate Gus taking the time to do the re-post and to relate how it was done. It is a terrific learning tool for me. In LR2 you can do a lot with local adjustments and I'm just moving into that.
    Thanks again
    Gail
