West Quoddy Lighthouse - Lubec Maine

The Easternmost Point in the Continental USA. Beautiful green grass here and perfect for IR.

I opted to try to take a different view of this lighthouse. Normally this is shot from the eastern face.

Michael, I like the boldness of the sky. I'm not a huge fan of lighthouses however the sky really draws me into this .Nicely done. There are a couple of marks in BG towards LR , not sure if they are suppose to be there.

I like the image. The sky rocks...I would suggest in cloning out the picnic table, it distracts from your main subject..try it and see if it works for you; my eye keeps going there...:cool:

Beautiful lighthouse, Michael! I am not having trouble with the picnic table so much as the two marks near the bottom edge of the frame. I'd smooth them over if you can. I think the clouds and sky in this are gorgeous and add a lot of interest to the horizontal stripes of the lighthouse.

Very nice comp. Great sky. Good range of tones. The picnic table doesn't bother me at all. The marks on the right look like maybe you accidentally painted on the image instead of a layer mask (at least they look like the marks I get that way;)).

Strong image Mike !!!! Love the overall feel Just with the table wasn't there somehow it detracts from the mood !!!
