Yesterday's photo taken in early morning at Bolsa Chica Wetlands in California. First time I've photographed a GBH in a tree. It's been cropped a little, with vibrance, clarity, contrast and sharpening applied in Lightroom. I wonder if the blurry branches in the foreground detract? And what I might do to improve the image . . .

Hi Wendell Photographing birds with steep angles generally do not work well The branches so compete for attention I think it would be a good exercise to clone them out You got a good exposure and sharpness Sky looks very good and fine cropping !!!

These guys don't generally perch high on trees but on occasion you find one !!!

Alfred, what do you mean by "steep angles" -- the inclusion of the branches in the image? Thanks for your suggestion; I will give branch cloning a try . . .
