Leaves on snow

Hi Bill - I like the spotlight effect you have - however would have maybe liked to see one of the leaves under the spotlight, rather than just the snow - feel it would have made it a stronger image. The brghtest part of the image is the spotlight on the snow so your eye goes their immediately and there is nothing of intrest there except for the snow.

You are right Lance. Should have moved a leaf for a stronger image. Good point.

Hi Bill, I like this very much it has a real artsy feel. I see Lance's point but another perspective is: Your eye is drawn to the light first which appears to be your focal point then is moved from leaf to leaf!! Just my thoughts

I like what you were trying to do Bill !! Agree with suggestions

For lighting effects you usually want a transition and to cover the rest with some light !!!

agree with the above comments, but also think if you cropped some off the right to just about where the light starts it would be stronger. love your thought process here!
