    Nikon D300, Sigma 300mm 2.8 w/1.4tc, 420mm focal length, F4, 1/1000, ISO 400, Manual mode, hand held

    I like it Oscar. good color rendition, sharp details, nice soft background and good eye contact...I only wish for a lower capture angle...I know...I know the conditions that you had from the boardwalk...you did good...proud of you...:cool:

    Hi Oscar - nice looking bird - agree with Gus - a lower angle would have been nice - but may not have been possible.

    Am I seeing a Halo around the bird or is it just bright spots in the water causing the effect.

    Pretty bird Oscar. Nice colours. Would have loved to have seen the rest of his head in the reflection!!!!

    I like the image very much, Oscar. I think it would look a bit better cropped up from the bottom to about halfway through the reflection.

    I like it a lot Oscar but ........ strange place to crop it :D I think you had something against that poor whistler !!!!

    Would just open the shadows a bit on the body but do like the image. A lower angle would have been nice but would hate to see you swimming ... there are gators around :)

    looks great, OZ!! personally i'd crop it to just above the white spot in the reflection! nice clean up job around the duck too!!
