    I only wish the one branch was not touching the heron's leg. Looks like you had some nice light to your advantage! Exposure and sharpness look good :-)

    Would a polarizer have added more punch / contrast to the back ground??

    I almost missed this one.
    I have to agree about the perch touching the bottom. Looks like the fill flash did the job, specially in the tail. Good profile and good colors.

    Polarizer in a 600mm?? Is possible but who does that???

    Not being that familiar with the 500mm + tele's - I thought they had drop in filters?

    They do, but I not many people use them.

    You know Maxis that whatever you do is perfectly alright with me, don't care if the branch is touching his butt it's still a great capture.
