Lovely colours, pose and BG, Marko. Open bill is nice - I would try and reduce the specular highlights from it though. No familiar the the 20D metering but not sure from the tonalities that you would need -2/3 exp comp - were you clipping highlights without it?

    Thx for comment Tony....
Yes I noticed that my 20D like to burn highlights specially if there is small white spots like here...if I did not underexposed on this case whites on head would be burned I think...
I would like to hear other opinions on the exposure for this one...interesting theme...at least for me because it is always a problem with birds that have little white spots....and there is lot of them here in my country... :)

Nice colors, light, and BG. The specular highlights Tony mentioned don't bother me much. Nice overall image!!

The 20D EXPs need to be way darker than the MIII EXPs. I would have guessed -1/3 for this. Oversatuated yellows can also cause blown hightlights that can be eliminated in Photoshop simply by reducing the Yellow SAT. In addition to the specular highlights I would lose the single blade of grass behind the bird.

Techs look great from this end. Great low angle and I like the open bill.
