I like the soft light and exposure control but the BG makes it for me. Maybe a slightly higher color temperature?

    Good composition.
My only nit here is a slight head angle turn would have thrown more light into the eye of this bird and it would have been Amazing.

Lovely image - agree that the background really makes it stand out - I agree with a slightly higher colour temp (or saturation) but perhaps selectively on the bird and the log which it is perched on! Well done - congratulations and thanks for sharing.

I like the comp and the palm fronds in the BG are sweet. I agree with Axel re: the color temp.

Lovely, Fabs. The texture of the feathers and the BG are fanatastic. Agree re warming the bird a little. I would be tempted to trim a smidge from the top - just below your watermark.

Excellent composition, image and capture Maestra...:) Very good color rendition, with sharp details. I like the diagonal perch and the light mint green palm fan in the background compliments your subject well. A big congrats to you...

i love this image. it's not all bird.

great subject, eye contact, sharpnesss, composition, and background. i disagree with raising the color temp. i think the cool cast adds to the atmosphere of the image....when i see this image i think 'loneliness'. thanks for posting.
