Although alot of ducks are arriving locally not all species are looking
their best yet. So far the Mallards are in good plumage I really liked the pose this
Mallard gave me a few weeks back. I added canvas for comp. on right side.:)

Magnificent iridescence you got showing. Mallards could look so beautiful when the sun hots them the right way. Very nicely done.

Great light, angle, details and mood. The OOF grass in the BG adds to it.

Very nice Jim. I find Mallards a real challenge but you have captured the essence beautifully. I really like the subtle BG, low angle, light, colours and sharpness.

Only downside to Mallards is that they are marching east and genetically gobbling up the Black Ducks as they go.

Great pose, and I really like the subtle habitat. Excellent sharpness as always Jim.

Terrific light on the dark green areas of the head and nech. Terrific details and eye contact. I like a lot the pose of the bird and the low angle. Excelent exposure job Jim!
