    I took this photo of a downy woodpecker . His stare stood out to me so I wanted to accent it. I de-saturated w/o taking all the color out so his focus would still be in his stare.

    Nicely done! I do wish the rock/tree (whatever is on his right side) were lower in the image so you could really see his upper shoulder better but the stare...it's well done and really intense!

    I like the desaturated treatment Does give a good feel Would go tighter all around for a better view of the face area It does have an interesting look !!!!
