    I'm posting this; not because it's by any means a good shot and it's a fairly large crop but ......
    1) My first image of a Fish eagle
    2) My first Fish Eagle in flight
    3) It's got a fish!!!!:D:D:D

    Congrats on all counts Jeni !!!

    Remember to open up on this birds going overhead You are photographing the shaded side of the bird. With harsh light they are tough since you have the white on the head which most often will blow out !!! Hope you get another soon, magnificent birds !!!

    Hi Jeni - congrats on a first - SOFT LIGHT is the key with birds that have white spots.

    You are on your way. Great wing spread, and the fish too. So difficult to get a shot where everything works.
