This was as close as I could get to red today. Took a walk in the park and found this rose long past its' prime. The black line is a light post, I left it in because I thought it added some interest and it was the best background of the ones I took.

I like the simple elegance, and the delicate pastel red hue of your rose. The soft multi-colored background looks like a studio back drop. Excellent composition, image and capture...a big congrats...well done...:cool:
Hey Jackie, I like the colors and you have a nice sharp shot the composition is nice as well. The only thing I am not crazy about is the black line going down in BG . I think it takes your eye off the bud.
