Hi - I have been extremely busy with work lately - so no chance for shooting for a while.

This one was inspired by Nick's creations. HA could be better, and there is a slight blue cast (cant fix it now, as I am at work)

Shot into the morning sun - BG is actually water, with the golden early morning sunlight reflecting off it, the +3.0 EV took care off the BG.

This is a beautiful pic, Lance. You just have to fix that blue color cast and you're all set ;)

    Hi Lance,
Lovely image. I like the pose and the whites are in check, with the high key background...

    Hi Lance,

Very nice. I like the high-key effect. Good self critique although I do not mind the head angle as presented. I might play with the color of the eye. It seems a bit too white. I might try and add some yellow.

Another nice image, keep them coming!

    Regards,

    Phil

I like it as presented Good crop and head angle parallel to the film plane. Eye might be a little bright but looks good. Elegant image Lance.

Hi Lance, great image. I like how you got nice colors on the face, beak and eye despite all the light from the BG. Like the HA and general composition and don't even mind the bluish cast. I think it makes the bird stand out really nice from the really white BG. Getting rid of it might also create an interesting effect however, making the bird blend in with BG.
    Nice work!

Beautiful Lance, Love the pose and the lines. It is very elegant. Just a quick fix for the colour cast. I think it would look lovely as a print.
