    Taken at the Green Cay Wetlands with a Canon MK-3 and 500-MM IS-L-lens.
    ISO=640 at f/5.6 @-1/1000th of a sec. 0-EV and a 1.4-ext. to 700-MM.

    Nice pose. The image image overall looks too noisy. The perch is also a bit distracting. Not a whole lot you could have done about that though.

    Very lovely lighting in this capture Bill with a good pose. I find the angle a tad steep and I don't know if you could have moved back a bit to lessen the steepness of this capture. Good exposure and detail and a very nice BG.. Thanks for sharing !!!

    I would like to thank everyone for their comments but I would love to know how if there is a way to shoot birds in the canopy that doesn't look to steep, your help is greatly appreciated.

    Bill,

    I agree with Judy. There is a lot of noise in the BG and looks contrasty as well.

    As far as your questions goes, I often wait for a better opportunity.
