    Lovely shot, Sid. Really like the light and texture of the feathers. Would prefer it if the blue extended to the top. Lovely low shooting position I have recently been using the D300 - 200-400+1.7x combo and been quite impressed. AF slows but is usable apart from BIF.

    I also wish the blue would extend to the top as the dark band above is not ideal. I like everything else though...great low angle, and the plumage looks great along the back and wings.

    Cool image Sis, the angle rocks. Also the head turn pose is very nice. I do agree that the dark green band on top is distracting.

    Nice light and pose. I wish the head was turned just a bit more. As said the dark band in the background is a bit distracting.
