    After a break for nearly two months without photographing, due to heat and other reasons, this marks the beginning of the bird season for me.
    Green Cay Wetlands, Delray Beach, Florida

    A good way to get the ball rolling!! Glad to see the season is gearing up for you,,,we're winding down for the winter months - hopefully we'll have some good winter visitors like last year. Looking forward to more new images from you :-)

    Hehy Fabsm, I like the image a lot--wonderful EXP, head angle, and BKGR--but why 2009?

    Bill, it was a last minute decision, we had to go to Boca and decided to extend the trip a couple of hours midday today.
    Next time, I promise :)

    A great portrait...love that water dripping off the bill of this well-exposed stork! Glad to have you guys back at it. I see that you are rolling out the 2009 model birds ahead of schedule!
