We don't have much around here for birds but one thing we do have is leaves...lots of red and orange and yellow leaves. This is basically as shot, a bit of contrast added and little else. Taken with the 70-200 f4 at 70mm f13, 1/50+2/3 in AV

    Carole,

I really like this a lot but felt it needed a contrast boast. I did it using a local contrast enhancement. USM at 25/50/0 on a BG copy - change settings to your liking. This boasts contrast but does not sharpen due to the large radius.

    Nicely done Carole,
Love the dreamy feel. The pastel colors are super. It looks like a painting. The repost looks good, with the added contrast; but I prefer your original...personal taste...:D well done...congrats...

    Carole,
I love this kind of image, and you've made a truly beautiful one. Just the right composition with the birch, and just the right amount of pan. I do like the intensified colors from the contrast boost. This is one I'd gladly hang on my wall, at least 16x20.

I agree with the others...the first one is very nice...the repost takes it up a notch. Beautifully done!
