    Default California Quail

    Here's one from last weekend. I'm not thrilled with the broken-off perch, but this is as much in-the-open as I've been able to get these guys. All comments appreciated!

    ISO 400, 1/125, f/8
    >90% of FF

    Hi Neil and welcome. Aside from the broken off scarred perch you have made a lovely image. The head angle, sharpness, EXP, and BKGR are all excellent.

    What a beautiful bird. Your decision of leaving the branch in LLC was a good one as it balances the comp nicely. Colour temp could be raised a bit, but still nice as is.

    Excellent job getting the shot Neil a very pretty bg and pose I like the fix it done by Artie it looks perfect I wouldn't of known;)
