    This is the same Fulvous Whistling duck as Mr H's post. Taken yesterday late afternoon at Wakodahatchee wetlands
    where I finally met Judy Lynn Malloch. Judy was gracious enough to allow some of us to take several shots with her 600mm F4 lens;) . Thank you Judy for allowing me the opportunity. Other honorable mention in attendance were Mr. & Mrs. H, and Alberto.

    Nikon D300; Nikon 600mm F4; focal length 600mm; F4; Shutter Speed 1/2000; Aperture Priority;
    Exposure Comp -2/3; For sure tripod assisted.

    Just a little over Oscar with those dark tones the meter will open big time so you need to take into consideration that the meter is opening up and that you need to close down for the white areas of the duck !!!

    Hi Oscar, now I see what I missed, I like the composition, placement of duck in frame, the color of the water is very nice, head angle and eye contact are fine; the whites are just about boarder line , would tone them down a bit...good show...:cool:
