This is a about 30 minutes pre-sunrise at the Sunshine Skyway the day after the BPN GTG. The actual sunrise was pretty plain, but I loved the contrasting colors at this particular moment...and that Great Blue Heron standing on the left side.
I had thought of going there that Saturday morning but we had even less color then so I went to North Beach instead. I like the comp with the bridge towers set to the right and the cables/towers always make a good graphical element. Here they are set off from the BG colors better then in a daytime image and really stand out.
I like everything about this one especially the perfect compositional balance.
