It seemed to have a magenta cast so I added more green in the colour balance.

nice motif image, jackie!! i think you could lose about half of the dead space on the bottom with no problem. i like the focal point and how it fades a little as you go back in the frame. wonder what a polarizar filter would have done for those white areas on the berries. i need to do some experimenting myself!!!

    great job. i like it!

Hey Jackie, I did a crop and moved your stem to the corner . had to do it at work so I'm on my laptop(very small) and I don't have cs3 I'm sure someone else could do a better re-post but just thought I would give you a diff. perspective.

Liked the idea of cropping. I tried stopping down but these berries were growing on a chain link fence and the BG was really ugly. I wondered if the colour of red looked accurate and if it looks overly sharpened. Thanks.

    Hi Jackie:

Like the red and slight dreamy look. Like it with the one berry removed by Denise but undecided about stem placement as I think being unsymetrical adds to the dreamy look.

    Well done.

    Thanks for sharing

I like the flow of the composition and the tighter crop. I agree with Al about a shade more DOF might help. Somehow I am looking for more visual separateness and distinctiveness amongst the berries especially those at the front (does that make sense?). I am also wondering about the angle of the light. I think the composition works if the eye begins at the center bottom and then moves upward, but the oof berries below the center pull the eye away from that flow. Or mabe the eye begins at the top with the branch and moves down to more and more focused berries?Just mullings. I feel like this is a good image to think about composition with.
