    Default Twisted Leaf

I took a photo of a hosta leaf in a blue birdbath filled w/ water. Then twisted the leaf just slightly in PS and bumped up the contrast to make it stand out a little more

Well done Denise...proud of you...the blue tones of the bird bath are nice and vibrant, contrasting with the leaf. I like the liquid effect...well presented...good show...

I'd deepen the curve in the lighter tones, Denise. You've got that water looking milky white again. Bringing those high tones down will take care of that in an instant.

Composition is very nice and the blue is so vibrant! Make the hosta leaf's colors match that intensity and you'll have a hit!

    Hey Denise,
The leaf reminds me of a flowing river. Agree with Julie's comment about matching the vibrancy of the blue. It is such an intense colour it would be interesting to see which shade of green you would pick to match it, if that is the way you would go.

I like ethe flow if it very much, however, toning down the leaf may make it even better,
