This was taken last evening at Wakodahatchee. Unfortunately I had been working with some children earlier in the day at Loxahatchee for their childrens program and had switched my camera to jpeg and forgot to switch back to raw so the only editing I did was , levels, curves, cropping and USM. What a difference it makes. I decided to share this image anyway as I very much liked the pose and it is the first time noted that they have been seen at Wakodahatchee .

    Judy,
Great shot, nice pose. I only wish they build a second board walk at a lower level.
Thanks for pointing out the duck to me... I have to go back, no keepers so far for me.

    Hi Judy,

Love the pose but there is something terribly wrong with the blues.

I love the pose Judy I agree with Maxis on something not being right with the blue colors.

Great pose and position of this bird, but agree on the funky blue color, but to me your still great and #-1.

Great setting, pose and eye contact. I agree regarding the blues and the water looks quite noisy on my monitor.

Axel I used noise ninja and I am not sure why the blues look as they do but their feet and beak are bluish in color. It seems very strange to me that the other colors are right on and the blues are a tad off. Any info on why that should happen as I have never had this problem before. I shoot in raw and it has been years since I worked with a jpeg. Any suggestions would be most appreciated . My computer is being replaced by Apple since I have had several problems and photoshop is not working a 100% so perhaps it has to do with these issues. Thanks everyone for taking the time to comment.

You need to check your color profiles, maybe your screen is a bit off and it looked good to you, and not after saved.
    Great pose!!!

Love the pose and the subject. The blues are odd, so hopefully you will discover the cause. Nice capture!

Is it maybe an in camera setting that affects JPG processing that has made the colours wild - all look very saturated to me ?vivid mode

Thanks to everyone for their help. I did check the camera and it was set on vivid so perhaps that was the cause, I will check it out again today, All help was very much appreciated. Judylynn
