Love the silhouette and composition. I would add a hair of sharpening, but an excellent image as it is!

Almost a heart shape. Unusual merging. If it is OK with your ethics, I would clean the water in the background for more impact.

Happy New Year and very happy to see you here. Shame we missed you at Bosque, maybe next year...

Glad to see you here. The Bosque colors are always outstanding. Interesting pose. Normally I try to do as little as possible to an image.....but I would consider cleaning the BG water as suggested. Well done.

Cleaned up the BG and added more sharpening. Tried to upload but can't do it today, exceeds quota message.

    Thanks for the suggestions

    Hi Bob,

Nice image, the BG doesnt bother me at all, it looks natural. I do see a little Vignetting (light fall off) maybe.

By the way, who makes a 700mm lens?

    R

p.s. I really want to make a Canon Vs. Nikon joke regarding the image sharpness but I think I dont need to bring it up. I shoot both systems so I feel for my Canon only brothers.

Welcome to BPN, Bob! It's good to see you here. Nice silhouette. I like the two headed crane and don't mind the stuff in the water.

Maybe a 500 with a 1.4? That is what BB reported.
