the IR has been productive here in Maine.

    Here's one I liked ...

Sweet image! The tones and textures here are wonderful, the clouds treated you well with their alignment, and you have a simple frame here with lots to look at (at the moment, I really enjoy the ripples in LL reflecting the clouds). I think this comp has too much black sky, though. I think you can safely crop out some of the sky (about half the distance from top edge to top of upper cloud) and still have good room to keep the clouds in the image and dynamic. With the details in the water and only clouds in the sky, I don't think you need to worry about having the horizon in the middle of the frame.

    Great job here!

Really great IR, Michael! My only nit is the rock on the far right edge...I'd like it either all in or all out. Riding the edge of the frame I find it a bit distracting.

I love the rocks on the left and the man in the boat on the right...perfect comp for me (although I do see Bruce's point about the sky...I could go either way.)

Congrats Michael. Excellent composition and contrast. I like it as you presented, to me it has a calm feel to it.
    Regards,
