    Sid,

    I like the comp and the subject is nice and looks sharp.

    The image is quite dark and flat. The rose isnt close to white. Curves would take care of this in a second.

    Also the Bokeh looks strange, I dont think I have seen this effect before, almost like it was taken through a screen of some kind.

    Perfectly composed, Sid. I can't quite figure out how you got that bokeh in the BG either but I do like it. I think if you adjusted the whites to be more realistic and bring the image up a bit in the lighter or midtones it would be even better.

    I definitely messed up the whites on this one, although it is much brighter in Lightroom for some reason. The bokeh is actually a group of "Carol Mackie" Daphne shrubs behind the roses.
