Hi Folks!
Well, BeeP has arrived safe and sound for his adventures in the UK!! He sends a big hug to Grady and Pam and has been telling me how much he enjoyed himself in Maine. He was a little jet-lagged when he arrived yesterday so he had a quiet evening in, just getting to know the family.
Today, however, he felt much better and wanted to see the town. The Cheltenham Literature Festival (cheltenhamfestivals.com) is currently taking place and this afternoon he has been to two events. First of all he heard the explorer David Hempleman-Adams talking about his latest ballooning exploits in the US and then he heard a very funny talk by the actor Charlie Boorman, who was telling us tales of his motorbiking travels to exotic parts of the world. Tonight we are taking him to a story-telling event - he says he didn't realise that the British were such cultured people........
BeeP could hardly believe his eyes when he saw the sign that he is pictured with! He had to find a very tall man indeed to lift him up so that he could take a second look. The kind man said that this was the most creative thing that he had been asked to do all day...Beep is wondering if he has ever met anyone from Cheltenham, Pennsylvania...
Now it is time for him to get ready for the story telling. He asked me to tell you that he will write again very soon!
Best regards to all,
Nicki and BeeP
I hope you realize that you have taken on a big responsibility Nicki. So far it sounds as you and BeeP have hit it off. BeeP will be making a full report when he comes back across the pond and grave consequences will result if BeeP has not enjoyed himself !
Love you wonderful composition Nicki and Beep looks like he is ready to go. Take good care of our little buddy and I look forward to his next adventure !!!
