Hi folks, this will be my last Grebe shot for me and for now, so many beautiful images out there to be bothered with mine, but this one I like.
    Canon 50-D at 1/640th of a sec. and a +0.3 exp.bias ISO=400 and 700-MM.

Thank you all for yoyr comments and for the visit.

Well composed with good detail and good eye contact. You have done well with the grebes Bill under challenging conditions.

Love the pose Bill. This one also looks a little noisy to me. Was it shot RAW or JPEG? If RAW, what program did you use for RAW conversion?

Nice find and eye contact. I agree regarding the noise and some lack of detail. Is this a heavy crop?

You've been posting some nice grebe images! I also wonder if this is a large crop since the image shouldn't look so noisy at ISO 400. If you aren't secure in your post processing skills, you might want to check out Arties "Digital Basics File". It will get you on the right track.

Nice eye contact and pose. I agree about it looking a bit soft and noisy. I would love to see one of these.
