    Had to post this as I found this shot to be funny.

    A friend and I drove a couple hours in search of some Bald eagles. We found two but nothing worth shooting as they were super far away. We had to shoot something and this is the treatment we received from these animals... (Canon 1D + 300 2.8LIS)

    Hey Eric,

    That is gold! Sometimes you're just in the right place at the right time. It's amazing what you can end up with when 'plan A' fails. Great work.

    So funny.. I like the placement of the bison in the frame you have left room for him to move into the frame Light was a little harsh but you handled the exposure well...

    This sure makes me smile :-p

    Good composition, although it needs slightly more space on top. I really like it that you left enough empty space for him to walk into. And although the light might have been a little harsh the shadow adds to the photograph IMO. I don't know if it would have been possible, but did you try photographing it from a lower angle? That would have brought more intimacy into your creation.
