    Shot over a small dam near my house close to Pretoria, South Africa. These guys would swoop down from the trees to go and fetch nesting material, and this posture was captured as he was gaining height again.

    Great wing spreading and really nice to see the underparts of the heron iluminated with such a nice light. The breeding colors of the bare parts are really good and I like a lot the BG.
