I thought this layer of pond scum with leaves reflecting from trees on the bank had an interesting abstract look.

It makes a very interesting abstract. A little too tall for my eye not to wander lost. Perhaps cropping some off the bottom as most of the interest is in the top part.

    Mike,
Art from pond scum -- you have truly found the photographic equivalent of the legendary philosopher's stone.:D

I like the textures and lines and softly complementary colors. Agree with David about cropping up from the bottom, just far enough to make the bottom edge more or less uniformly dark.

Very cool, Mike! I'd also suggest taking just a sliver off the top to bring the light blue to the frame's edge.

I can see a forest and the road turning away from it :)
