    Default Northern Harrier

This little cutie was caught with her head down ... until my shutter went off.

Shot with Canon MkIII, 500f4 + 1.4TC, handheld at f5.6, 1/1250, ISO 400 and no flash.

    Thanks for looking :)
    Thanks to Jim, again!

Love this image Bill, congrats! UW detail and sharpness is the face is fantastic and the wings up pose is great.

No changes for me, great as is.

A little hot on what looks like the upper tail coverts but other then that as pretty of a Harrier picture as I have seen.

This is a great post. You pretty much nailed it. Your BG is great. What PP treatment did you give it? That has been a problem for me lately.

Superb capture Bill! Works well for me - wish it was mine. Posture, eye contact all that you need is there - VWD!

Thanks for the kind comments everyone.

My PP for this guy was simply a sharpening of the bird and NR of the BG.

    Bill :)

The eye contact is fantastic but the wing beat, the BG and the sharpness... wow, couldn´t be better. Terrific!
