Sounds like you need to update bridge for the new camera you are using.

I download pictures from the card via card reader with Nikon Transfer. From there I could open nef files in capture one 4 or adobe camera raw. In adobe bridge,(version 2.1.0.100) the nef file is only like 2" x 3" big. Jpegs are viewed at normal size.
What is the camera body, D3, D700?.

Hello Angel.
This will happen if the improper camera update is loaded. I have seen this exact occurrence a few times. You see a tiny thumb and no preview.
