The Meltdown Begins........

Hi Folks,
Sorry I haven't been around for the last few days - our town's annual Literature Festival is on and we are attending 38 events in 10 days!!!!
I am thinking of entering this picture in a Camera Club competition entitled 'Saving Planet Earth' so I'd really appreciate any feedback at all. I think that it will be too abstract for most of the judges that we get, but hey - gotta keep them on their toes......

I can't really remember what actions I did on this, but I guess it doesn't really matter - does it evoke the sentiment that the title suggests or not????
