    This was a photo of an unopened pinecone Hanging from a tree . I did a liquid effect on it and sharpened it.

    Denise: What beautiful colors. I would never have guessed it started out a pine cone! I like the dark at the top getting lighter below., However, my eye is leaving the frame at the bottom. IMHO adding a little canvas would improve the image. You have really developed a unique style. Well done!

    I orig. had space at bottom but that's what it looked like -space. I decided I wanted it to flow off the page a bit, I thought it brought your eye all the way thru. Oh well I guess not. Thankyou Joanna for your input it's always a pleasure to hear your opinion. Once again thanks!

    I agree...I think the bit on the end looks a bit crowded without that extra space. Also, did you think about twirling the pinecone and then doing another treatment on the rest to separate it out a bit? Might be interesting that way as well.

    Love the colors in this! I think it would make a great abstract for the Christmas season!
