This was taken in Kings Canyon National Park last August, a lone cow that I saw on the way to the Boole Tree Trail. I believe this was taken with my 1D2 and 24-105 @105 and f/4, I don't remember the shutter speed or iso.

Not sure if this is concidered wildlife....but let me give you a suggestion...by going to a lower shooting angle the cow would have stand out better and by placing it more to the left, the cow would have had more space to look into. Now the composition isn't all that interesting IMHO.

She does have a lost and worried look on her face. Ranches close by?

Brian don't feel bad about the fine beast being evicted from Wildlife .... I've been trying to sneak one there for many years .... .with that look and those horns its got to be wild !!!!!! On close inspection that animal was about to charge !!!!!!

Would suggest giving more room at the bottom and placing further left in the frame. You can increase the contrast a bit to make her pop.
